NIPPER QUALIFYING EVENTS
Attached are the list of Qualifiers and Reserves (in drawn order) for Board Race, Iron Race & Board Rescue.

OFFICIAL REQUIREMENTS
Each club is required to provide officials to the ratio of one official for every 15 competitors. All officials are to attend the briefing which is at 6:30am Saturday and Sunday mornings near the SLSWA Administration Van on the beach. Clubs that do not supply enough Officials may have competitor restrictions placed on them. (eg for every Official not provided fifteen competitors will be unable to compete.)

MORNING WARM UPS - SATURDAY & SUNDAY
Please not the following warm up times:
Swim warm ups from 6:30am - 6:45am
Board warm ups from 6:45am - 7:00am
His vis vests must be worn and clubs are to provide adequate water safety for their members warming up.

WATER SAFETY
All water safety personnel need to be appropriately attired in water safety rash vest and/or orange cap. Please bring rescue equipment (eg Boards & Tubes). Please note attached roster. Failure to fulfil your Water Safety responsibilities may result in your members being unable to compete.

COMPETITORS
All competing require an SLSWA Wristband. Wristbands will be available at a cost of $5.00 at the SLSWA Administration Van. Nippers are to wear their Club Competition Cap and Hi-Viz Woodside Nippers Vest. Competitors not wearing a Woodside Nippers Vest may be stopped from competing.

ONE BREAK RULE
Please be advised, to maintain consistency across arenas and Nipper age groups, we will allowed a break in all Nipper age categories.

AGE MANAGERS PASSES
Wristband passes will be issued at Team Managers Briefings. A maximum of two wristbands per arena will be provided per club each day. Only those wearing the appropriate wristband will be allowed in the competition arena and are to leave the arena if requested to do so by Referees or Event Management.

PHOTOGRAPHY
Each club is allowed two (2) photographers. These members are to sign in at the SLSWA Administration Van and will be issued with a Pink Media Vest allowing access to arena. Official photographers are required to leave the arena if requested to do so by a Referee or Event Management. The vest cannot be given to another member without SLSWA approval. All vests are to be returned at the end of each day.

MEDAL PRESENTATIONS
Please note, medal presentations will be held in each arena. Where possible, medal presentation will occur directly after the conclusion of the event.

PROGRAM
Please note the program of events is subject to change at the discretion of the Event Committee. Changes to the program will be announced over the PA as soon as practical.

We will not be holding in an arena for a competitor coming from another arena.

TEAM CHANGES
Team changes can be made by completing the attached form. Please copy enough for your purposes. Only competitors entered in the Championships can be a substitute. SLSWA will not be amending results post event due to clubs failure to update us on team changes.

TENTS
Clubs can erect tents after 4pm Friday. Tents must be secured and no PA equipment is to be moved or tampered with.

SECURITY
There will be limited security for SLSWA equipment. Clubs and Competitors are reminded that equipment left on the beach is at their own risk.

PARKING
Only park in the designated parking bays and obey the respective time limits. Rangers will be checking throughout the weekend.

SIDELINE BEHAVIOUR
Arenas are our playing fields and are for competitors, officials, authorised Team Managers, handlers, and photographers.

Do not approach any competitors or officials whilst they are within an Arena.

Do not use inappropriate language or gestures.

Do not tamper with or move signs, fences, or PA equipment.

Authorised Team Managers are the only people to talk to Referees. Any protests must be made verbally to the Sectional Referee within 5 minutes and followed up in writing, on the appropriate form, within 15 minutes. Impolite protests or protests outside these timeframes will not be accepted.

Event staff and/or a Referee may ask anyone, including authorised club personnel, to leave the Competition Arena. If you are asked to leave you must do so immediately.
Your inappropriate behaviour may result in penalties for your club and for those competing for your club.
