Following up from our communication on Monday, SLSWA have been tracking daily the forecast for this weekend and have noted little change throughout the week.

We have this morning conducted a risk rating at Mullaloo Beach using the weekend forecast data. The resulting risk rating was high.

After consulting the Event Safety Officers and Referee we have decided to cancel the 2025 IRB Racing Championship.

We appreciated that this decision may disappoint some members but the safety of competitors, volunteer officials and staff is always our primary concern.
