OFFICIAL GUIDE
Please find attached the Official Guide for the Fuel to Go & Play WA Surf Life Saving Championships. Please take note of the times on this Guide. Please be advised, due to entries, Saturday’s program will be long.

GRAND PARADE
In celebration of City of Perth SLSC reaching 100 years of service to the community there will be a Grand Parade on Sunday 9 March commencing at 7:15am. SLSWA and City of Perth SLSC invite clubs to participate in this parade.

PARKING
Only park in the designated parking bays and obey the respective time limits. Rangers will be checking throughout the weekend.

SURF BOATS
Please refer to page 4 of the attached Guide re Boat Trailers. Boats can only go down onto the grassed are between 4-6pm Friday or from 5am Saturday.

TRAILER PARKING
Please refer to attached map re City Beach. Trailers parked away from the designated areas may be subject to fines.

CLUB TENTS
Clubs can bring tents and set up from 4pm Friday 7 March. Please do not come any earlier than this as you will be turned away. Any tents erected must be secured with star pickets.

OFFICIAL REQUIREMENTS
Each club is required to provide officials to the ratio of one official for every 15 competitors. All officials are to attend the briefing which is at 6:45am Saturday and Sunday near the SLSWA Van.

Club and members are to note that SLSWA will not tolerate any inappropriate interaction with Officials. Please refer to our Official Guide for further information on how we can keep Surf Sports AWESOME.

MORNING WARM UPS
Please use the designated warm up areas as follows:
Water 1 for swim warm ups
Water 2 for board warm ups
Water 3 for ski warm ups

Hi-vis vests are to be worn at all times during warm ups.

COMPETITORS
All competing require an SLSWA Wristband. Wristbands will be available at a cost of $5.00 at the SLSWA Administration Van.

PHOTOGRAPHY
Each club is allowed two (2) photographers. These members are to sign in at the SLSWA Administration Van and will be issued with a Pink Media Vest. The vest cannot be given to another member without SLSWA approval. All vests are to be returned at the end of each day.

MEDAL PRESENTATIONS
Please note, medal presentations will be held in each arena. Where possible, medal presentation will occur directly after the conclusion of the event.

PROGRAM
Please note the program of events is subject to change at the discretion of the Event Committee. Changes to the program will be announced over the PA as soon as practical.

TEAM CHANGES
Should a club wish to make changes to a constituted team they must submit the attached Notification Advice a minimum of fifteen minutes prior to the particular event. The earlier the better. SLSWA will not be amending results post event due to clubs failure to update us on team changes.

SECURITY
There will be limited security for SLSWA equipment. Clubs and Competitors are reminded that equipment left on the beach is at their own risk.
