UPDATED QUALIFIERS LIST (AFTER CLOSE OF ENTRIES)
Attached is an updated list of qualifiers, please note;
A number of reserves have been randomly drawn and promoted due to the non-entry of some initial qualifiers.
General Reserves are now in order of promotion through the process of a random draw conducted at SLSWA.
If a Regional Qualifier does not attend, marshals will determine if a Regional Reserve is present before offering the place to the next appropriate General Reserve.
General and Regional Reserves must attend marshalling if they wish to be promoted.

CLUB TENTS
Clubs can bring tents and set up from 4pm Friday. Please do not come any earlier than this as you will be turned away. Any tents erected must be secured with star pickets.

OFFICIAL REQUIREMENTS
Each club is required to provide officials to the ratio of one official for every 20 competitors. All officials are to attend the briefing which is at 6:30am both mornings at the Trigg Island club rooms.

MORNING WARM UPS
Please use the designated warm up areas as follows:
Water 1 and Water 3 for swim warm ups
Water 2 and Water 4 for board warm ups

WATER SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Attention: City of Perth, Cottesloe, Fremantle, Mullaloo, North Cottesloe, Scarboro, Sorrento & Trigg Island
The clubs listed above have water safety requirements across the weekend as per the roster on page 12 of the Official Guide https://www.mybeach.com.au/app/uploads/2023/02/SS_WAChamps_OfficialGuide_23_FINAL-1.pdf. This involves four current qualified members with rescue tube or board (supplied by club) for in water roster as well as an IRB Driver & Crew. All water safety personnel need to be appropriately attired in water safety rash vest and orange cap. IRB Driver & Crew are required to supply their own PFDs

FIRST AID REQUIREMENTS
Attention: Coogee Beach & Quinns Mindarie
The clubs listed above have first aid requirements across the weekend as per the roster on page 12 of the Official Guide https://www.mybeach.com.au/app/uploads/2023/02/SS_WAChamps_OfficialGuide_23_FINAL-1.pdf . First aid tents will be identified by a green First Aid feather flag.

COMPETING NIPPERS
All competing Nippers are to wear their Club Competition Cap, Hi-Viz Woodside Nippers Vest and their SLSWA (red) Wristband. Wristbands will be available at a cost of $5 at the SLSWA Administration Van.

ONE BREAK RULE
Please be advised, to maintain consistency across arenas and age groups, we will allow a break in all age categories. A reminder to all that when a Nipper competitor breaks after a false start, they are disqualified, except in beach flags where they are eliminated not disqualified.

AGE MANAGERS PASSES
Wristband passes will be issued at Team Managers Briefings. A maximum of four wristbands per gender will be provided per club (eg 4 blue for managers of females and 4 green for managers of males). This allows for larger clubs that have separate managers for their females and males. For smaller clubs that have just one manager for both please wear the two colours (eg blue and green). Only those wearing the appropriate wristband will be allowed in the competition arena.

PHOTOGRAPHY
Each club is allowed two (2) photographers. These members are to sign in at the SLSWA Administration Van and will be issued with a Pink Media Vest. The vest cannot be given to another member without SLSWA approval. All vests are to be returned at the end of each day.

MEDAL PRESENTATIONS
Please note, medal presentations will be held in each arena. Where possible, medal presentation will occur directly after the conclusion of the event.

PROGRAM
Please note the program of events is subject to change at the discretion of the Event Committee. Changes to the program will be announced over the PA as soon as practical.

We will not be holding in an arena for a competitor coming from another arena.

DRAW
The draw for the weekend is swim, board.

TEAM CHANGES
Team changes can be made by completing the attached form. Please copy enough for your purposes. SLSWA will not be amending results post event due to clubs failure to update us on team changes.

SECURITY
There will be limited security (on beach) for SLSWA equipment. Clubs and Competitors are reminded that equipment left on the beach is at their own risk.

PARKING
Only park in the designated parking bays and obey the respective time limits. Rangers will be checking throughout the weekend.
