This 1km and 2km beach run series is for all surf clubs, all ages, from nippers to masters. Swanny is so excited to welcome everyone to have a run on our beach in front of the beautiful sunset. The Rampant Swan bar will be open afterwards.
Race 1: Friday 8th November
Race 2: Friday 20th December
Race 3: Friday February 14th
Cost: $5 per event, to be paid on the evening.
Registrations open from 4.45pm
Nippers races from 5.30pm.
Youth from 5.45pm
Masters and Open from 6pm.
CASH PRIZES
Winner of Open Women’s Series: $250
Winner of Open Men’s Series: $250
Other prizes will be up for grabs! Please note, if you wish to be eligible to win the cash prize, you must nominate to run in the open race at each event.
AGE GROUP CATEGORIES
The age group categories and their run distances include:
NIPPERS: U8/U9/U10/U11/U12/U13 – 1km.
YOUTH: U15/U17/U19 – 2km
OPEN – 2km
MASTERS: 40-49, 50-59 – 2km
over 60 – 1km
