The countdown is on to the SunSmart WA Surf Life Saving Championships being held at Scarborough beach this weekend.
Below is some important information for clubs and competitors.

The key changes to the program is the delay in the start of the championships on Saturday morning by 15 minutes. The 2km beach runs are now marshalling at 7am and March Past is starting at 7.45am. The full program of events will now get underway at 8.30am
There is also a few changes to the Sunday program due to SLSWA filming events. This includes the Under 15 Male and Female Ironman final which will now be held in the main arena.
Clubs are permitted to put up club tents from 5pm Friday. Please follow the instructions of the SLSWA Events team in the positioning of club tents.
The RIFD band technology is being used so competitors are reminded to bring their bands. A SLSWA tent will be located just north of the amphitheatre for athletes needing to collect a band. This can be done from 6am on Saturday morning.
