The future is looking bright for the 25 youth members who officially became Youth Officials after coming together to train at Trigg Island Surf Life Saving Club yesterday.
Members undertook training from none other than Sandy Clarke, who was not only the 2018 Championship Referee, she was also named SLSWA Official of the year, SLSWA AGL Energy Volunteer of the Year and SLSA Volunteer of the Year!
These Youth Officials are now qualified to officiate at the SunSmart Little Nipper and SunSmart Nipper Carnivals, with many set to officiate at this Sunday’s SunSmart Little Nipper Carnival at Swanbourne Beach.
